Racing Victoria Brief

Racing Victoria (RV) is the governing body of horse racing in Victoria. The PR department at RV came to Red Tomato to find the perfect invitation to launch the Festival of Racing period and marketing campaign to media and the wider public, to get them in the mood for the Festival which runs from February through to March.

They were looking for 50 x picnic kits that included a basket, rug and glasses.

Red Tomato sourced a series of wicker picnic baskets that would fit with the picnic theming of the Festival of Racing, arranged for them to have an additional touch of subtle RV branding through a custom luggage. A bespoke printed media guide that detailed the highlights of the Festival was also included in the baskets. The media kit was distributed to Victoria’s leading media contacts to entice them to attend the Festival launch, as well as to utilise their picnic basket on track, particularly at some of Victoria’s country circuits, across the Festival of Racing period.

Progroup Automation – Corporate Uniforms

Last March ProGroup Automation contacted Red Tomato to assist with their uniform design and selection.  They had worn uniforms in the past but had issues with quality and logo replication.  Company Director- Mike Vlainic wanted a uniform that would reflect his company’s branding and stand up to the rigours of his staff handling heavy materials and going up and down ladders.  He requested quality uniforms that weren’t going to tarnish his brand.

The team at Red Tomato used their extensive sourcing network to recommend and make Mike’s job easy with uniform selection. He wanted his team to be proud to wear the company uniform whilst feeling great at the same time.

We knew exactly what was required and selected products that would match Mike’s expectations.

In October 2017, the Australian Physiotherapy Association committed to participating in Australia’s largest health and fitness expo to promote their choice.physio campaign to attendees.

The marketing and commercial team reached out the Red Tomato to help develop promotional materials to give away through the expo that would engage with their key demographics and also leave a strong call to action to recall the new website details.

Red Tomato in preparation for the meeting undertook the investigation of the profiles that would be attending the expo and put together a series of product presentations highlighting key active elements and re-usable factors that would ensure achieving the marketing and branding objectives.

Prospa approached Red Tomato with hopes of revamping their current welcome pack, these packs were used to surprise and delight new brokers who partner with Prospa. The packs welcome new brokers to the Prospa family and create a sense of warmth during the on-boarding process, whilst creating an extra touch point. Unfortunately the existing pack was outdated and did not reflect the sleek Prospa brand.

The challenge was customising an updated package that incorporates all the existing items in the pack whilst maintaining Prospa’s modern brand image and reducing the cost per welcome pack.

After brainstorming ideas internally and with Prospa, the focus was kept on the brand image they wanted to convey and the merchandise that would best fulfil this. The following was decided on for the welcome packs: a certificate in a sleek gloss black frame, a premium metal pen, a professional notebook wrapped in Prospa branded tissue paper and placed into a premium custom made box. We worked tirelessly with our office in China to ensure all products were fully customised to the client’s liking whilst still being cost and time effective.

Prospa has had a good response from their new brokers who feel like the on-boarding process was enjoyable and the welcome packs encouraged a warm, friendly beginning to the relationship.
